Fasten your seat belts and put on your finery, it’s time for Torill Tombola at Teaterfabrikken!
Ur-tanta from innermost Trøndelag has grown up in the middle between the soap monastery on Tautra and the valley floor where they sing about vømmøl and karsk. Apparently a king fell there also a thousand years ago. The area is called Innherred. In recent years, she has lifted herself away from the soft curves around the northern part of the Trondheim Fjord and worked for a few years in Trondheim.
There she has flourished; made bingo and other more concert appearances; both at the Disco, Trøndelag Theater and with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. Many remember from last year, when we all had to stay at home, so Torill who was also ‘all by herself’ and needed to do something to not lose heart, daily small shows online, to the delight of many. Even NRK got it.
Åge sings that it is a long way to the Royal Albert Hall, and Torill agrees … even if the dream comes true … yes. And while the dream of the Royal Albert Hall is still there will be a visit to the stately. The theater factory in Ålesund is now finally a reality. Great stas!
