We are very proud to present this year’s festival artist: Trine Røssevold from Valderøya. Røssevold is central to the art community in the Northwest, both in his capacity as his own artistry, his role as principal at Ytre Kunstfagskole and through a number of art policy positions.

We have visited her in the studio on the island, where artists have taken over the closed school and filled it with activity. In this video you can hear Røssevold talk about his work process, the importance of discomfort in art, and a little about what we get to see during the opening performance at Parken kulturhus.
