The last day of the festival is devoted to a joint walk in the Sunnmøre nature, we are going out to collect food on the shore of Molnes.

Autumn is a good season for traveling in mountains, shores and terrain, and Norwegians are diligent users of both the nearby nature and the peaks. What few people know is that we are walking among a multitude of edible plants that have not yet gained a permanent place on the dining table. We want to do something about that! This year Høstscena and Kristin can invite you out into Sunnmøre’s diverse nature. Gathering isn’t just food – it gives you a breather in everyday life, and is also an exercise in admiration and respect for nature.

Author Kristin Helene Randulff Nielsen has since 2014 picked wild plants for several well-known Oslo restaurants such as Smalhans, Kontrast and Maaemo, to the delight of the King’s table and to adorn food on the TV screen. In 2018, she and the self-taught chef Magnus Slagsvold Støre published the book «Håndplukk», which was a great success.
