FESTIVAL OPENING Inger Bakke

This year’s festival artist Inger Bakke opens this year’s Autumn Stage in the foyer of Parken Kulturhus.

As a festival artist for Høstscena 2018, Bakke will address the theme of man in the face of herself and the world we live in, and she presents two premieres for this year’s festival audience. In the opening performance« The taste of the water ?» Bakke will explore modern man’s need for rituals and contact with nature. In this project, she has invited a bunch of eminent artists: composer Magnar Åm, author Marit Kaldhol, visual artist Liv Sønderland. In addition, Ålesund Chamber Choir and, true to tradition, many great students from Fagerlia upper secondary school. The work will be performed in Byparken during the opening of Høstscena 2018.
