Natalie Sandtorv w / band and Nils Petter Molvær will sound «Arbeideren» on Sunday 30. September!

Natalie Sandtorv has always wanted to play at Arbeideren kulturhus. It happens on Sunday 30 September! The historic building, which has housed everything from the city’s workers’ association to royal dinners, flea circuses and boxing matches, is now occupied by Natalie, Eirik Havnes and the rest of the band. Along on stage follows Natalie’s very special guest, the music pioneer Nils Petter Molvær. As part of the concert, they will perform a commissioned work Sandtorv has composed for this year’s Autumn Scene Festival.

Vocalist and songwriter Natalie Sandtorv from Ålesund has in the last year really taken the step into the jazz manege. In 2016, she received an award as Jazz Talent of the Year from Moldejazz and Sparebank 1. Last year’s debut album Freedom Nation received international attention, and the press wrote that the release «sits like a shot»
